Aligning Cerebellar Disorders Therapy Development with Patient and Caregiver Priorities

We’re pleased to share the following invitation from Dr. Lauren Sankary at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Dr. Sankary is conducting a voluntary research study exploring the perspectives of patients, caregivers, clinicians, and researchers involved in cerebellar conditions and related therapies. This aligns with our shared goal of advancing understanding and collaboration in this field.

We are writing to let you know about an opportunity to participate in a voluntary research study about understanding the goals of patients, caregivers, clinicians, and researchers with respect to research into new therapies. This study is being conducted by Lauren Sankary, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurological Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center.

Participation includes completion of three surveys in a three-round modified Delphi process. Participating in this study is expected to take about 60 minutes (1 hour).

This study will be enrolling individuals diagnosed with cerebellar conditions, their caregivers and experts in the field, including clinicians, researchers, and representatives from funding bodies and patient advocacy organizations.
